My Story
I was first introduced to Scentsy in the Spring of 2011 when I received a warmer and three bars as a gift from one of my students. This student knew I loved candles, what she didn't know was how frequently I forgot to blow them out. :( As I began investigating this new gift, I quickly realized that there was no flame to blow out with this Scentsy thing. NOW I WAS REALLY INTERESTED! I was talking to my mom about it and she told me she just agreed to host a Scentsy party for a girl at church. I was extremely excited and attended her party, asking question after question and becoming very familiar with my new gift. I smelled all the scents at her party and began thinking to myself "I could totally do this!" At this point in my life I was living in an apartment but ready to take that next step and buy a house. I talked to my uncle who is a broker and he told me "you are going to need a lot more than that for a down payment on a house " After talking to him I was very discouraged-- I am a full time teacher and doing everything I can to save money. Then, it hit me! SCENTSY!!!! I was so in love and intrigued with this new gift that I decided right then that I was going to become a consultant. On Aug 1, 2011 I joined the Scentsy Family and I have never had so much fun sharing a product I love! I love hearing the stories my customers share when one of our scents ignites their memory and brings them back to a special time and place in their life. A night out with my hostesses and their friends never feels like work. I party and get paid, who doesn't want to do that? Since joining Scentsy I have learned so much about myself. I have conquered fears and made my dreams a reality! I have met some of the most amazing people on my Scentsy journey that I would have never otherwise crossed paths. I am so grateful and thankful not only for the business opportunity, but the opportunity it has given me to grow as a person. This company has allowed me to travel the world in a way I would have NEVER been able to afford. I have earned 12 all-inclusive trips for me and a guest to places like Punta Cana (twice), Hawaii, Atlantis, a 7-day Southern Caribbean cruise, Disney World, Cancun, Disneyland, Bermuda and Cozumel. If you are wondering if I ever bought my house...YES I DID! I was finally able to save enough money and purchase my first home in December 2012.
